Currently I live in Kazan city (Russia). (It is a large city in the center of Eurasia. If you compare it with other cities by the quality of life, ethnic origin of the population, cultural life, climat, and geography you will find that the most similar city is Warsaw in Poland. Although it may seem strange at first sight.)
In 2010th year I obtained a visa for repatriation to Israel and applied for immigration to Quebec. But at the same time my financial situation improved significantly, and I preferred to travel around the world instead of immigrating to Israel or raising knowledge of French required for Quebec.
I regularly receive job offers including visa sponsorship and relocation to the USA. But these offers either come from "inadequate" employers or include a "slave contract" with average salary.
So, considering some personal and family-related circumstances, I preferred to keep until the current time the lifestyle combining living in Kazan, remote work for US-based companies, low local taxes, and regular travels around the world.
